My team ended up as Hitmonchan, Rilaboom, Xatu, Weavile, Aegislash, and Gavantula, but only Rilaboom, Xatu, and Hitmonchan were there from the first wild area visit. The rest were swapped in and out as caught/needed. I did swap pokemon around a little bit but my final team was. My current team-Gyarados (carefull), Gardevoir (bold), Shiny golem (neutral), Magnezone (timid), Gengar (timid) I have no sixth pokemon i used these mons to defeat bugsy and now i am grinding in the event guys. All-Time Meta/Best Teams. I've seen many historical posts around that discuss best teams for each generation that are aimed at getting through the game efficiently (what Pokemon are easy access at the beginning, have high potential, HM slaves, etc.), but I'd like to hear what the overall best or meta teams are from an end-game perspective. Regarding the starter there is no doubt, Mudkip is the best; Swampert can literally do the game alone, but also the other 2 are not bad either.
